Tends to
trend again
IMPORTANT MENTION : ALL THOSE COMMUNICATION SUPPORTS ARE IN FRENCH SINCE THE TARGET IS QUEBECERS.
We sometimes forget, but despite the passing years, trends tend to come back, And traditional marketing, which stays up-to-date.
While working for Cogir, I had the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of traditional media operations. The target demographic predominantly comprises individuals aged 65 and above, with a significant portion falling within the 85 and older bracket. Their communication strategy heavily relies on traditional channels such as print newspapers, magazines, and radio broadcasts.
Through my involvement, I gained valuable insights into how these channels are utilized to effectively reach and engage this specific audience demographic. Additionally, I observed firsthand the importance of tailoring messaging and content to resonate with the preferences and sensibilities of this age group.
TRADITIONAL SUPPORT
Radio
At Cogir, radio is utilized to promote large-scale events such as open houses or corporate gatherings. Through this experience, I’ve honed my writing skills, structured my messages clearly (using a three-part format), defined the target audience we aim to reach, and strategically determined the time slots for broadcasting our communications.
TRADITIONAL SUPPORT
The Newspaper: The Original Social Platform
Through my experience with traditional media, I have been surprised to discover a collaboration aimed at maximizing the distribution of newspapers, mailings, flyers, and other mediums to reach the widest possible audience of prospects. Enriched by this experience, I can now understand and determine distribution routes, as well as define the geographical areas to target.
Like any other media, it is important to accurately identify the target audience we aim to reach. Unlike digital platforms, where content can be generated more frequently, messages in traditional media must be clear and concise. This underscores the importance of strong writing skills. Furthermore, analyzing the outcomes is crucial for adjusting our messages accordingly.
